Thankfully, by the time Pink Floyd released it, they had enough popularity and foresight to order a large pressing. Meaning, collectors can pick up a first pressing for around $300.
The price skyrockets for Near Mint and Mint condition copies, though. One Near Mint copy, described as being in archival shape, sold for $4,333 in July. This marks the most expensive sale of this version of the record.
